Tapal does not collect any personal information that can directly identify you, such as your name, address, email address, phone number, or social security number. We also do not gather any sensitive information like financial details, health records, or biometric data. You can use the App without worrying about providing personal identifiers.
All the data generated and used within the Tapal App is stored locally on your device. This means that any settings you customize, such as your preferred sound effects, click patterns, background colors, and text affirmations, are saved directly to your device's storage. The advantage of this is that it provides you with enhanced privacy and control. Your personal relaxation preferences stay with you and are not transmitted over the internet or stored on external servers.
For example, when you create a unique tapping rhythm or choose a particular background image, that data is cached on your device so that you can access and enjoy your personalized experience instantly the next time you open the App. Even if you are not connected to the internet, you can still fully utilize the features you've set up as the data is right there on your device.
When you uninstall the App, all locally stored data will be completely removed from your device, ensuring no data remnants persist.
We do not collect any analytics or usage data that could be used to track or identify you personally. While some Apps may send back information about how often you use certain features or how long you spend in the App to improve their services, Tapal does not engage in this practice. Your usage of the App remains private and solely for your own enjoyment and stress relief.
Tapal does not collect or store device identifiers such as your device ID, IP address, or advertising identifier. We have designed the App to function without the need to uniquely identify your device.

These permissions are strictly used to enhance your in-app experience and do not involve any data transfer outside of your device. For instance, the vibration permission allows you to feel the soothing vibrations as you tap, and the storage permission ensures your custom settings are saved and retrievable.
If you choose to purchase a premium subscription, the transaction is processed by Apple. While we do not collect your payment information, Apple may provide us with limited purchase information such as your subscription status and renewal dates. This information is used solely to activate your premium features and is stored securely on your device.
